Welcome to "Link!" (the "Bot"), a service designed to facilitate the sharing of game links directly to users in a voice channel on Discord. By using the Bot, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions (the "Terms of Service"). Please review them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting, accessing, or using the Bot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, you must not use the Bot.

2. Description of Service

"Link!" provides the following services:

  • Sends direct messages containing game links to users in a voice channel.

  • Ensures that all links sent are certified and safe.

  • Allows guild administrators to customize which links can and cannot be sent using the Bot.

  • Provides an option to opt in or opt out of receiving links from the Bot.

  • Generates random game recommendations for users to play.

3. Slash Commands

The Bot operates through Discord's slash commands. We collect and store all command usage data, including message interactions for service improvement.

4. Customization by Guilds

Guild administrators can customize the Bot's behavior, including:

  • Defining which links are allowed or restricted.

  • Configuring other relevant settings as provided by the Bot's features.

5. Certified Links

We guarantee that all links sent by the Bot are certified. This means that we have taken reasonable measures to ensure the links are safe and direct users to legitimate and appropriate content. However, we are not responsible for the content of external sites.

6. User Opt-In and Opt-Out

Users have the ability to opt in or opt out of receiving links from the Bot at any time. Instructions for opting in or out are provided using the slash command /optin and /optout. By default, every user is opted in.

7. Random Game Recommendations

The Bot can generate random game recommendations for users. These recommendations are provided for entertainment purposes only, and we do not guarantee the availability or quality of the recommended games.

8. User Responsibilities

As a user or guild administrator, you agree to:

  • Use the Bot in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Not use the Bot for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

  • Ensure that any customization or settings you apply to the Bot do not violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, "Link!" and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your use or inability to use the Bot.

  • Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.

  • Any bugs, viruses, trojan horses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through our service by any third party.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Bot at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms of Service.

11. Modifications to Terms of Service

We may revise these Terms of Service from time to time. By continuing to access or use the Bot after revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Terms of Service.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any disputes related to them will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
